Harpoon Hunters

It's man versus ocean in the hunt for one of the fastest fish in the world.

Each summer on Cape Cod, multi-generational fishing families race against the clock - and each other - to catch highly valuable Atlantic bluefin tuna using only 10-foot electrified spears.

Time is of the essence as harpoon boats only have four weeks to catch as many fish as they can before the overall limit is met.

With fish worth as much as $10K each, stakes are high for these expert fishermen to make ends meet for their families and beat the competition to take home these prize fish.

In the series premiere, "One Man, One Spear": Four harpooners chase some of the world's highest-priced fish using only fast boats and expert aim.

Niko must prove he can run a legendary boat while Joe hunts to support his family as the fleet races to land the first monster bluefin worth thousands.

Bridge of Lies 3

Channel: BBC Brit (DStv 120)
TX Time: 19h00
Genre: Quiz Show

Bridge of Lies 3

Ross Kemp has turned his hand to quiz show hosting for the first time as presenter of the nail-biting series Bridge of Lies.

The actor and presenter, known for his role as Grant Mitchell in EastEnders as well as presenting a number of critically-acclaimed documentaries, will preside over teams of contestants as they compete for cash by crossing the Bridge – a collection of stepping stones featuring various truths and lies based on general knowledge categories.

Each player must try to safely step on the truths and avoid the lies, or risk falling off and out of the game.

Once they've conquered the Bridge on their own, successful contestants will join forces to face the dramatic final crossing for a chance to take home some cash.

In the Season 3 premiere: Ross presents the quiz show where a team of four friends – in this episode, Jacqui, Nigel, Phil and Jane – take on the Bridge of Lies.

One by one, they all face the Bridge, choosing who faces each crossing depending on the question category.

Each crossing has 32 potential steps, including 22 truths and 10 lies.

They must cross the Bridge by stepping on the truths and avoiding the lies, earning money for each correct answer.

Step on a lie and the Bridge will halve their money; step on three lies, and they are out of the game.

There is always a safe path across the Bridge. They just have to find it.

Once they have each faced the Bridge on their own, those who have been successful will join forces to face the final crossing for a chance to take home the cash.

Garage Rehab

Channel: Discovery Family (DStv 136)
TX Time: 18h25
Genre: Reality Makeover, Reality, Motoring

Garage Rehab

Many Americans dream of owning a successful business, and Richard Rawlings - hot rod hunter from the Discovery series Fast n' Loud - and his expert team are determined to help struggling shop owners get their businesses, and their lives, back on track.

Garage Rehab follows team Rawlings as they travel across America to find shops in need of transformation.

Once a garage is identified and the deal is sealed, Richard takes over, making all decisions for the business as he works to revamp and revitalise the enterprise.

From a dilapidated garage in Texas filled to the rim with junk to a cash-strapped hot rod shop in Southern California about to close its doors, in each episode Richard takes on a seemingly impossible challenge and uses his entrepreneurial savvy, deep knowledge of the auto industry and multi-faceted marketing skills to transform these struggling garages into profitable businesses.

Dealing with out-of-touch owners, lazy employees, bad workflow and significant construction challenges, Richard and his team must work around the clock to meet tight deadlines and re-open the shops to their customers - if they have any left.

Richard is joined by dynamic duo Russell J. Holmes, project manager; and Chris Stephens, garage designer.

While Russell is "the muscle" behind Garage Rehab's renovations, Chris is the "hustle."

A construction expert with over 20 years of experience, Russell has seen and dealt with just about any problem a contractor could encounter.

He's tasked with getting Richard's rehabs done on time and on budget - no small feat with looming deadlines and cost overruns.

Russell watched his own father lose a family business and now is dedicated to helping other shops before it's too late.

Chris is responsible for taking Richard's vision for the shop and implementing the design from the ground up.

Highly efficient and a stickler for detail, Chris demands that every aspect of the plan and the placement of every piece of equipment meet his approval.

As a shop owner himself, specialising in restoring vintage European cars, Chris knows exactly what it takes for an auto garage to be successful and profitable.

In the series premiere, "Grapevine Automotive": Richard and his crew have less than a week to completely overhaul a Dallas automotive garage and teach the owner some new tricks.
