Bio
David Ramsey is an American actor best known for his recurring roles in television series such as All of Us (2005), Ghost Whisperer (2005-2008), Hollywood Residential (2008) and Dexter, in 2008.
He played the starring role of defence attorney Al Druzinsky on the short-lived legal drama television series Outlaw, in 2010.
Ramsey can also be seen starring in the Rodrigo Garcia-directed film Mother and Child and he stars in the political satire feature Nailed, opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel.
Additional film credits include a supporting role in Pay It Forward, The Nutty Professor, and Con Air.
Ramsey's versatility was showcased in his starring role as Mohammad Ali in the television biopic Ali: An American Hero, where he received rave reviews for his portrayal of the self-proclaimed greatest fighter of all time. Ramsey also starred in the title role in Resurrection: The J.R. Richards Story.
Ramsey's talent has landed him recurring roles on a number of television series, including Starz's Hollywood Residential, ABC Family's Wildfire, Ghost Whisperer, and Showtime's Huff.
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Ramsey was bitten by the acting bug while performing in a church play. He later attended Wayne State University's Fine Arts Program, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
In his spare time, Ramsey is an avid practitioner of the martial art founded by Bruce Lee, jeet kune do. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their two dogs.
