Bio
April Bowlby is an American actress best known for her recurring role as Alan's (Jon Cryer) ditzy girlfriend Kandi in the sitcom Two and a Half Men (2005-2007) and for starring role as Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva, from 2009-2014.
Bowlby studied ballet and French in college before deciding to pursue a career in acting. Within weeks of her first Hollywood audition, she landed the recurring role of Kandi on Two and a Half Men.
Bowlby has also appeared on How I Met Your Mother, CSI: NY and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Some of her additional acting credits include roles on the Fox comedy Stacked, and the ABC series Freddie and television movie Sands of Oblivion.
For the big screen, Bowlby aooears in the comedy From Prada to Nada, opposite Camilla Belle, Alexa Vega and Wilmer Valderrama. The film is a modern take on Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. Bowlby was also featured in All Roads Lead Home and The Slammin' Salmon.
She currently resides in Los Angeles.
