Bio
Pierre Breytenbach is a South African actor and comedian best known for his roles in the television soap operas Egoli, 7de Laan, Generations, Binnelanders and Villa Rosa.
He graduated with a BA in Drama from the University of Pretoria in 1998 and immediately began working on stage in musicals and comedies.
With an appreciation of the outdoors he has been a field presenter for the SABC2 wildlife programme 50/50 for a number of years. He was also a supporting cast member of the SABC2 sketch comedy series Kompleks.
Other television series he has acted in include Die Casper Rasper Show, Haak en Steek, Laugh Out Loud, FONT, Getroud Met Rugby and Wild at Heart.
He was also a main member of the cast of Proesstraat, the kykNET improvisational comedy series based on the German improvisational comedy show Schillerstrasse which was recorded without a script, in front of a live audience and broadcast unedited to a large extent.
In 2012 he became one of the six original presenters of the kykNET breakfast programme Dagbreek.
