Bio
José Zúñiga is a Honduran-born American actor best known for his roles in films set in New York, including Fresh (1994), Crooklyn (1994) and Next Stop Wonderland, in 1998.
He also had a starring role as Detective Eddie Esposito in the action-comedy police procedural television series Taxi Brooklyn, based on the film Taxi written by Luc Besson.
A native New Yorker, Zúñiga has appeared in numerous movies and TV series over his career. His extensive television work includes Scandal, Desperate Housewives, House, Suits, Castle, Grey's Anatomy, CSI and Law & Order.
On the film side, Zúñiga has had roles in Twilight, Next, Con Air and Mission Impossible 3. His career took shape with Frank Marshall's 1993 film Alive before moving on to such indies as Crooklyn, Smoke and Brad Anderson's Next Stop Wonderland. He also co-starred opposite Halle Berry in the box office hit The Call.
Zúñiga has been nominated for two ALMA Awards, for the TV series Nothing Sacred and Sins of the City.
