Brett Cullen is an American actor best known for his television roles as Dan Fixx in Falcon Crest (1986-1988) and as Marshal Sam Cain in The Young Riders (1989-1990).
He also has a starring role as Michael Stappord, a handsome, big city attorney with a catalogue of important clients and a briefcase full of their dirty laundry, in the comedy-drama television series Devious Maids.
Cullen is a veteran film and television actor who has appeared in a number of feature films including Apollo 13, Something to Talk About, The Replacements, Ghost Rider and 42, about the life of legendary baseball player Jackie Robinson.
Cullen has also been seen in high-profile films including the MGM film Red Dawn, the indie drama Puncture and Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, the third film of his acclaimed Batman trilogy. He also played Ben Graw in the Paramount film The Guilt Trip, opposite Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen.
On television, the Houston, Texas native is known for his character Goodwin on ABC's Lost and his roles on NCIS, The Mentalist, Desperate Housewives, Private Practice, Once and Again and The West Wing among others.
He also co-produced his first film in Beneath the Darkness, a teen thriller starring Dennis Quaid, in which he also acted.
