Hayley McFarland is an American actress, singer and dancer best known for her role as Emily Lightman, Cal Lightman's (Tim Roth) daughter, in the television drama series Lie to Me, from 2009-2011.
McFarland began acting at age six in local productions of Gypsy, The Sound of Music and Annie. After signing with a manager at 12 years old, she went on to appear in several commercials and a small independent film.
Her big break came when she landed a two-episode arc on Gilmore Girls and a featured role in the feature An American Crime, opposite Ellen Page and Catherine Keener.
She had a recurring role on the first season of the cable series United States of Tara. Her resume also includes guest appearances on 24, ER, Without a Trace and Criminal Minds.
She co-starred opposite Forest Whitaker, Dakota Fanning and Jennifer Hudson in the feature Fragments.
Originally from Oklahoma City, McFarland recently moved with her family to Los Angeles.
