Bio
Patrick Gallagher is a Canadian actor and singer best known for his role as Det. Joe Finn in the television drama series Da Vinci's Inquest (2001-2005) and its spin-off series Da Vinci's City Hall, from 2005-2006.
He also starred as Hugo Lum in the mystery drama television series Endgame, in 2011.
Gallagher previously appeared in the recurring role of the Vampire Bartender Mr. Chow in the highly acclaimed HBO series True Blood. He also joined the cast of the hit TNT series Men Of A Certain Age in the role of Jesse.
Additional television credits include guest starring roles on such popular series as Entourage, Hawaii 5-0, Cold Case, Pair of Kings, and Without a Trace.
Born in New Westminster, BC to an Irish father and Chinese mother, Gallagher was raised and schooled in the Vancouver suburb of Chilliwack, BC.
After graduating from the National Theatre School of Canada, where he honed his skills alongside fellow student Sandra Oh, Gallagher moved to Toronto, where he appeared in many TV shows and plays.
These included the world premiere of Nightingale as well as Whale, which he toured to the Kennedy Centre in Washington, D.C. Among the TV series were Kung Fu, Earth: Final Conflict and Due South.
After a stint as a tour guide at Radio City Music Hall in New York, Gallagher returned to Vancouver, Canada where he worked in many television series.
These included Robocop, Earth:Final Conflict, Dark Angel,Godivas, Stargate SG-1, Smallville and Battlestar Galactica. He also starred as Det. Joe Finn in the successful CBC series Da Vinci's Inquest.
Gallagher's big break came when he landed a role in the blockbuster feature Master and Commander starring opposite Russell Crowe and directed by Peter Weir.
After starring with his good friend Sandra Oh in the megahit feature Sideways, Patrick landed the high profile role of Attila the Hun in The Night At The Museum film franchise, starring opposite Ben Stiller, Robin Williams and Owen Wilson.
Among Gallagher's additional feature credits are Moving Target, The House Next Door, Walking Tall, Street Kings and most recently, The Fallen Faithful and Dancing Ninja.
