Matt Jones (sometimes credited as Matt L. Jones) is an American actor best known for his recurring role as Jesse Pinkman's friend Badger in the television drama series Breaking Bad, from 2008-2013.
He also has a starring role as Baxter, Christy's irresponsible ex-husband and Roscoe's father, in the television sitcom Mom.
Jones began acting in theatre as a young teen. At 17, he started performing improv and sketch comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade, Improv Olympic and other venues around Los Angeles.
At 22, Jones was offered a job at the famous BOOM! Chicago Theatre in Amsterdam. He returned to Los Angeles three years later and landed a recurring role as Badger in the award-winning series Breaking Bad.
Jones' other television credits include recurring roles on NCIS, How I Met Your Mother and Community. His film roles include Deputy Pete in Red State and Richie in High Road. Jones also voices the character of Hector in the series Sanjay & Craig, and voiced Gunther in Kick Buttowski.
Jones grew up in Claremont, California, and resides in Los Angeles.
