Bio
Paula Garcés is a Colombian-born American actress best known for her recurring role as Officer Tina Hanlon on the crime drama television series The Shield, from 2006-2008.
She also has a recurring role as Flora Hernandez, who worked as a maid for Evelyn and Adrian Powell until she was savagely murdered in their study, in the comedy-drama television series Devious Maids.
Garcés is well known as the infamous Maria from the hit 2011 film, A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, and starred in all three instalments of the Harold & Kumar franchise.
On the small screen, she began her career on the daytime drama, Guiding Light, and later earned ALMA Award nominations for her portrayal of Officer Tina Hallon on FX's The Shield.
As well as guest-starring in many hit TV shows, Garcés created Aluna, the first Latina video game superhero character, now played over 130,000 times a day globally on Heroes of Newerth, and debuted her ALUNA comic book series as a trilogy at San Diego Comic-Con.
She also co-created and executive produced The mun2 Look for mun2, a division of NBCUniversal, for two seasons. The show featured the latest fashion, celebrity interviews and dramatic makeovers.
In addition to becoming a Devious Maid, Paula also joined the cast of All My Children, for the online re-launch.
