Gideon van Vollenstee (born 1976) is a South African singer best known as a contestant on the third season of the reality television competition Supersterre, in 2010.Supersterre BioGideon was born in Randfontein and currently resides in Pretoria. He started singing at the age of 5 and is still going strong.For the past 17 years he’s been singing in pubs and corporate functions. He decided to audition for Supersterre so that he can get exposure and to win the competition.Listening to all the contestants was very challenging for him.His role models are Robbie Williams, Theuns Jordaan and Koenie De Villiers. In five years' time he sees himself as an artist with four platinum albums.
