Joe Manganiello is an American actor best known for his roles as Flash Thompson in Spider-Man and Spider-Man 3, as Solomon Cortez in American Heiress (2007), as Owen Morello in One Tree Hill (2008-2010) and as Alcide Herveaux in True Blood, from 2010-2014.
Joe appeared in the CBS comedy pilot Livin' on a Prayer for show creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, for whom he worked alongside for several seasons on the Emmy Award nominated How I Met Your Mother, on CBS. The pilot wasn't picked up to series but was released as a TV movie.
His other credits include the starring role of Lt. Sean Macklin in FOX's Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia as well as the independent film Irene in Time, written and directed by Henry Jaglom.
Manganiello is previously best known for his roles opposite Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco as Peter Parker's nemesis, Flash Thompson in the Spider-Man trilogy, directed by Sam Raimi.
Additionally, he is known for his role as Sophia Bush's love interest, Owen Morello on three seasons of the CW's hit TV show One Tree Hill.
Joe holds a BFA in acting from The Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama in his home town of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
