Bio
Lex Medlin is an American actor who has appeared in a wide variety of television commercials and sitcoms, most notably Happy Hour, from 2006-2008.
He also starred as Owen French in the supernatural comedy-drama series Drop Dead Diva, from 2011-2014.
Medlin was born in Auburn, Alabama, and grew up in 10 different states. When he made his move to Los Angeles, he began his training as an actor at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Medlin's television credits include a series leading role on the Fox sitcom Happy Hour as well as a recurring role on the drama series Southland.
He also had major recurring arcs on two other comedies — Still Standing, starring as Mark Addy's friend and nemesis, Jerry Bergner; and Rock Me Baby, with Dan Cortese.
Additional television credits include CSI, The Closer, Men of a Certain Age, Monk, Friends, Titus and Married to the Kellys, to name a few.
When not acting, Medlin spends his free time being a sports fanatic, watching movies and drinking light beer. He lives in LA with his wife and three children.
