Eric Stoltz is an American actor known for playing sensitive misfits in films such as Mask, Kicking and Screaming, The Waterdance, Killing Zoe and Pulp Fiction.
He currently stars as Daniel Graystone in the science fiction television series Caprica, since 2010.
Stoltz's portrayal of Rocky Dennis in Peter Bogdanovich's Mask first gained him nationwide attention. Starring opposite Cher, Stoltz's work earned him a Golden Globe nomination.
He's also appeared in the films Pulp Fiction, Little Women, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Butterfly Effect, Anaconda, Two Days in the Valley and The House of Mirth.
Additionally, he has performed cameos in the Cameron Crowe films Jerry Maguire, Singles and Say Anything, among others.
Stoltz has also starred in a number of successful independent films including Kicking and Screaming, Killing Zoe and the 1992 Sundance Film Festival winner The Waterdance.
He also produced and starred in the films Mr. Jealousy, Sleep With Me and The Lather Effect.
Stoltz's television work includes The Triangle, The Passion of Ayn Rand and Chicago Hope.
A theatre trained actor, Stoltz starred in the Broadway productions of Sly Fox Three Sisters and Two Shakespearean Actors. He was honoured with a Tony Award nomination for his work in the Broadway revival of Thornton Wilder's Our Town.
Off-Broadway he has starred in The Glass Menagerie, The Importance of Being Earnest, Arms and The Man, and Light Up the Sky.
