Charles Mesure is an English-born Australian actor best known for his role as the archangel Michael in the television fantasy series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (1998-1999) and Xena: Warrior Princess (1997-2001); and as terrorist Kyle Hobbes in V, from 2010-2011.
Mesure's more recent television credits include roles in Cold Case, Bones, Without a Trace, Lost, Las Vegas, Ghost Whisperer and Crossing Jordan.
He has also worked extensively in New Zealand including a season of Outrageous Fortune, Kaitangata Twitch, Street Legal, Xena, Hercules and the features The Boogey Man and Skin & Bone.
He has also written extensively for TV, including three seasons of Street Legal.
In 2010 he starred as Alec Ross, a man who awakes to find himself living a life he's sure is not his own, in the science fiction mystery thriller television series This is Not My Life.
He starred as Ben Faulkner, a love interest for Renee (Vanessa Williams), in the final season of the comedy-drama television series Desperate Housewives, from 2011-2012.
