Jon Foster is an American actor best known for his roles in the 2004 film The Door in the Floor, the 2006 horror movie, Stay Alive and co-starring opposite Jenna Elfman in the television sitcom Accidentally on Purpose.
Foster's feature film credits include the leading role as Eddie in The Door in the Floor starring opposite Jeff Bridges and Kim Basinger, Tenderness opposite Russell Crowe and The Informers opposite Billy Bob Thornton, among others.
Foster's television credits include series regular roles in Windfall and Life As We Know It, and guest-starring roles in Judging Amy, on the Network and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He also starred in the television movie Murder in Greenwich.
Foster has a wide range of interests outside of acting. He has written music since he was eight years old, trained as a boxer, surfs every chance he gets, and has a great love of the wilderness. He is qualified in wilderness rescue.
Foster grew up in Fairfield, Iowa. Currently, he lives in Los Angeles and is the younger brother of actor Ben Foster.
