Bio
Adrian Loveland is a South African entrepreneur and filmmaker best known for his 2010 documentary Unhinged: Surviving Jo'burg, which he wrote, directed, produced and starred in.
Unhinged is Loveland’s first work in film of any kind. Previously he made a living as an entrepreneur, picking up work in an array of fields, from event producing to furniture removals, writing, research and DJing.
In 2007, he decided to focus his energy on work that would harness his abilities, evolve into an asset and draw from the frustrations of his hometown.
Almost three years, much learning and many hours later, the result is Unhinged: Surviving Jo’burg. Researched, written, produced and directed by Loveland, the only experience he didn’t really draw from was the furniture moving.
