Victoria Platt (also credited as Victoria Gabrielle Platt, Victoria G. Platt and Victoria Platt Tilford) is an American actress best known for her television roles as Vicky Spaulding on The Guiding Light (1998-2001) and as small town doctor and herbologist Peg Mueller on The Gates, in 2010.
Platt's feature credits include My Girlfriend's Back, opposite Malik Yoba, and Bill Duke's Cover. She also played iconic entertainer Josephine Baker in the HBO original movie Winchell, and can be seen in Jonah Hex, starring Josh Brolin and Megan Fox.
Platt's television work includes guest starring roles in CSI: Miami, Strong Medicine, Crossing Jordan and Barbershop. She was also well known to soap opera fans for her role as Vicky Spaulding on Guiding Light.
On Broadway, Platt played opposite Gregory Hines in Jelly's Last Jam, and completed a run of the musical Sammy as Sammy Davis Jr.'s wife, Altovise.
Other theatre credits include Women of Plums at the Kennedy Center, Venice at the Kirk Douglas Theater, Pippin at the Mark Taper Forum, and Atlanta at the Geffen Playhouse.
Platt was nominated for two NAACP Theatre Awards for her roles in Opening Doors, which she also co-produced, and Hope Runs Eternal.
