Stefania Owen is an American-born New Zealand actress best known for her starring role as Puddle Kadubic in the short-lived television sitcom Running Wilde, in 2010, her television debut.
She is also known for her starring role as Dorrit Bradshaw, Carrie's (AnnaSophia Robb) rebellious younger 14-year-old sister who is trying to find her identity in the family now that their mother has died, in the teen drama television series The Carrie Diaries.
Owen began her film career at age 10, acquiring the role of Flora Hernandez in the feature film The Lovely Bones, directed by Sir Peter Jackson.
After many well-received performances, she landed a role as one of the lead characters in the television series Running Wilde, starring Keri Russell and Will Arnett. Besides playing the character Puddle Kadubic, she also narrated the show.
In April of 2011, Owen landed another role on Home Game, produced by Mark Wahlberg.
Born in Miami, Owen was raised with her family - father Mark, mother Margarita, older sister Carly and younger sister Lolo - in the Pauatahanui Inlet, a suburb of Porirua, a city in the Wellington Region of New Zealand.
In her free time, Owen enjoys ballet and other forms of dance, as well as singing, piano, guitar and gymnastics.
She divides her time between New York City and New Zealand.
