Latoya Ragebult has been living in Johannesburg for almost a year in the vibey Braamfontein area. She loves the "fast pace, 'the city never sleeps', and the opportunities are endless. In Johannesburg anything is possible especially if you work hard."
Her favourite pastimes are watching movies and spending time with her friends.
Her first thoughts when she was told that she had been selected as a contestant in the reality TV show Tropika Island of Treasure was "It felt unreal. I really almost fainted. I really couldn't believe it because I'm such a skeptic when it comes to competitions; I've never won anything in my life."
If Latoya had to invent a word to describe her personality, it would be "Fabutelligent".
"I'm fabulous in so many ways and intelligent. I'm a real beauty with brains kind of person."
And if she could have any superpower, it would be to be invincible.
"I am most looking forward to the people, the culture and the beach, and just being in another continent, I've never left the country," explains Latoya.
Bonang Matheba is her favourite celebrity. If she wins the million she would buy a car and finish her studies.
