Matt Nolan is an American actor best known for his supporting role as Peter Genco in the Oscar-winning Best Picture feature film Argo, in 2012.
He has had guest starring and recurring roles in numerous television series including Tour of Duty, Major Dad, Beverly Hills, 90210, Step by Step, The Client, Roseanne, The District, JAG, Weeds, Life, 24, Without a Trace, The Booth at the End, CSI: NY, Leverage and 2 Broke Girls.
He has also voiced roles in a number of animated series including The Legend of Prince Valiant, American Dragon: Jake Long, The Replacements and The Penguins of Madagascar.
Matt has also acted in numerous feature films including Mother, Taylor's Return, Frank Finds Out, Rhinos, Billy Jones, Ghosts of Mars, The Dry Spell, Chronicle and Stolen.
His television movie credits include Sometimes They Come Back and Home of the Brave. In addition, his video game credits include X-Men Legends, Superman Returns, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Might & Magic Heroes VI, Spider-Man: Edge of Time and Madagascar 3: The Video Game.
Born in Buffalo, New York he was raised in Portland, Orgeon. His former roommate is actor Josh Lucas and his brother is Ken Nolan, the screenwriter of the action film Black Hawk Down.
