E! Entertainment Television and national broadcast superstar Ryan Seacrest have inked a multiyear deal that calls for the popular personality to appear on air and to develop and produce multiple series projects for the network under his Ryan Seacrest Productions banner.
Seacrest is managing editor and lead anchor of E! News, along with current anchor Giuliana DePandi. He's been named one of People's Most Eligible Bachelors and holds down gigs in broadcast TV, cable TV, local radio and syndicated radio.
On broadcast TV, he's host of Fox's American Idol phenomenon. On the radio, he keeps commuters company with his weekly syndicated show, "American Top 40" and his weekday morning show for Los Angeles KIIS-FM and
Seacrest also serves as a fill-in host on CNN's Larry King Live and is being groomed to take over Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve empire.
He was the host of the 59th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, in 2007.
He is one of the hosts of the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in 2008, having been nominated with his co-hosts in the category Outstanding Host for a Reality Show or Reality Competition.
