Bio

Alana Randall is a Canadian actress and dancer best known for her recurring role as cheerleader Frankie on the comedy-drama television series Hellcats, from 2010-2011.

Randall started her performing career at the young age of three. A Toronto native, Alana grew up training in dance of all forms.

She began travelling and competing in competitions across Canada and the United States and it was evident from a very young age that she had a natural ability to perform.

However, it was not until Alana stepped on stage for her grade 11 high school cabaret that she knew she was more than just a dancer. Ever since that day, Alana hasn't looked back.

Alana knew she wanted to perform and made that her main focus so she trained as much as she could. She actually went to a performing arts high school as a dancer before attending college in which she first attended the Humber College Theatre Performance program to develop her skills as an actress.

After completing a year of the program and spending a year after exploring opportunities to perform, Alana then attended the Randolph Academy For The Performing Arts to study an intense curriculum of dancing, singing and acting.

In her early dance career Alana was featured in music videos and performed backup for various artists such as Katy Perry, Bow Wow, Prozzak, Boomtang Boys, Neil Young and many others.

As Alana matured as a dancer, her face became more familiar to Toronto sports fans. She was recognised both as a Raptors Dance Pack dancer, as well as a cheerleader for the Toronto Argonauts.

Alana has appeared in various commercials for McDonalds, Liberty Mutual, Payless and was a featured dancer in So You Think You Can Dance Canada, to name a few.

Alana's theatre works include a Toronto stage performance of Footloose playing the role of Rusty, and she travelled to Nova Scotia to play the role of Taylor McKessie in the Canadian Premiere of High School Musical, the stage show, then reprised her role in the same production in Ontario.

She studied broadcast journalism in New York and appeared in two made-for-TV movies, Made... The movie and Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure.
