Bio
Britt Lower is an American actress best known for her recurring role as Meg on the television sitcom Big Lake, in 2010. It was her first television role.
She can also be seen playing the recurring character of Tanya Sitkowsky in the police procedural television series Unforgettable.
She can also be seen as the lead of the indie horror feature The Shells and in a supporting role opposite Oscar Isaac, Brian Petsos, Kristen Wiig, Ryan Phillippe and Bobby Moynihan in the indie comedy Revenge for Jolly!
Britt began her television career by landing the heavily recurring role of Meg, the sharp witted love-interest to the lead in the 2010 Gary Sanchez series for Comedy Central, Big Lake, opposite Chris Parnell and Horatio Sanz.
As an improviser, Britt won the 2008 College Comedy Championship along with her college improv team, Old Tom Jar. Since relocating to New York in 2009, Britt has also won acclaim as a member of the comedic theatre troupe, The Striking Viking Story Pirates, which The New York Times called a "theatrical treasure."
Britt has improvised and been trained at iO (Chicago), The Upright Citizens' Brigade Theatre (New York) and the Magnet Theater (New York). She holds a BFA in Theater from Northwestern University.
She currently resides in the Williamsburg neighbourhood of Brooklyn, New York.
