Ishmael is a South African musician best known as a member of the hip hop groups Prophets of the City and Jozi. He is also a solo R 'n B artist.
Along with fellow Jozi member Da L.E.S., and the band's manager David Kibuuka, he was the subject of the SABC1 reality series Jozi - Moving the City, in 2011.
