Bio
Molly Tarlov is an American actress best known for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama television series Awkward, since 2011.
Tarlov was born and raised in Manhattan, New York, as the younger of two daughters. She began her career at the age of 10 as Mrs. Peterson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House that was very well received by a group of seventh graders.
As she got older she spent her summers at Interlochen Center for the Arts and in Paris studying with NYU's Tisch. She trained in a range of acting styles and received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College.
She also studied at The Atlantic Theater Company and was able to incorporate writing into her acting at the LAByrinth Theater Master Class.
Molly traded in her black winter jacket for a pair of black sunglasses and made her way out to Los Angeles. She quickly landed a three-word role on iCarly which garnered a lot of attention from her parents.
She has since done several television appearances and created the role of Caitlin on Winnie Holzman and Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family series Huge.
Molly likes to think she's good at basketball even though she isn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
