Ronn Moss is an American actor best known for his role as Ridge Forrester, the dynamic fashion magnate on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, playing the role since 1987.
Moss grew up in the rock & roll music field, where at age 11, he started learning to play the drums, guitar and electric bass.
In 1976, bassist Moss joined creative forces with singer/guitarist Peter Beckett, guitarist/keyboardist J.C. Crowley and drummer John Friesen to form the musical group Player.
In a garage in the Hollywood hills, they wrote & rehearsed their music that would soon attract the attention of music impresario Robert Stigwood, who signed them to his RSO Records label.
In the first three weeks of 1978, their single "Baby Come Back" occupied the #1 position on the national pop charts & Player was voted to the Billboard Magazine honour roll of Top New Singles artist of 1978.
Moss made his acting debut in the 1983 Italian film I Paladini - Storia D'armi e D'amori, which he followed up with a guest appearance on the television series Trapper John, M.D. in 1985.
Prior to landing his role as Ridge Forrester, Moss appeared in two movies in the same year (1987) - Hot Child in the City and Hard Ticket to Hawaii.
During his run on The Bold And The Beautiful, Moss has appeared in the films Predator 2 (1990), The Alternate (2000) and Christmas in Love (2004).
He also had a role in the 1995 mini-series Il Barone, playing the role of Bruno Brian Sajeva.
He was nominated for five Soap Opera Digest Awards in the nineties for his role on The Bold And The Beautiful - four times as Hottest Male Star (1993, 1994, 1997 and 1998) and once for Hottest Soap Couple, with Katherine Kelly Lang, in 1995.
