Bio
Katherine Kelly Lang is an American actress best known for her role as Brooke Logan Forrester on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, since 1987.
She was born in Hollywood, California and is the daughter of Olympic long-jump skier Keith Wegeman and actress Judith Lang.
Lang's first movie credit was a movie called Skatetown U.S.A. (1979), with Scott Baio, Mark Hamill, and Patrick Swayze. Most of the '80s were spent filming B-movies with up-and-comers such as Tom Eplin, David Faustino, and Mariska Hargitay.
In 1987, she was offered the part of middle-class Brooke Logan Forrester on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. She has been an integral part of the program ever since.
Her love affair with Ridge Forrester (played by Ronn Moss) has been a key story for over 20 years. The love triangle between Brooke, Ridge, and Taylor (Hunter Tylo) was a story that stretched across an entire decade.
The show's 5,000th episode included only four characters: Brooke, Ridge, Stephanie and Eric.
She appeared as her character, Brooke Logan on B&B's sister show, The Young and the Restless in 1998. She interacted with Eric Braeden (Victor), Peter Bergman (Jack), and Eileen Davidson (Ashley). She previously appeared on Y&R as Gretchen in 1981. She returned to Y&R in July 2007 for a brief stint as Brooke.
Lang has been married twice and is the mother of three children: Jeremy Skott Snider (born 1990), Julian Lang Snider (born 1992), Zoe Katrina D'Andrea (born 1997) and step-daughter Danyelle Puschendorf D'Andrea (born 1991).
Katherine is an avid horse-rider and shares a birthdate with her former co-star, Bobbie Eakes (ex-Macy Alexander on B&B, currently appearing as Krystal Carey on All My Children).
She is only 15 years older than her on-screen daughter, Ashley Jones.
