Paulino Nunes is a Portuguese-born Canadian actor best known for his recurring role as Federal Marshall Louis Coleman in the action thriller television series The Firm, in 2012.
He has worked with a diverse array of directors such as Jim Sheridan, John McTiernan, Peter Bogdanovich, Mario Azzopardi, David Wellington, Joe Carnahan, Ken Finkleman and Uwe Boll while sharing the screen with such actors as Susan Sarandon, Jason Isaacs, Forest Whitaker, Michael Madsen, Ving Rhames and Ally Sheedy among others.
Paulino appeared onscreen in the popular and critically acclaimed BBC miniseries The State Within directed by Daniel Percival. Other projects include co-starring in Norstar's miniseries Would Be Kings, directed by David Wellington and Uwe Boll's feature film Postal.
In 2009 he appeared in the miniseries ZOS: Zone of Separation, marking his second project with Whizbang films, his first being a cameo role opposite Tom Skerrit's U.S. President in the miniseries H2O: The Trojan Horse.
Paulino first distinguished himself in live theatre and has found enough time to step on stage in the past few years and win rave reviews for a diverse selection of roles from Shakespeare to Kenneth Lonergan.
He also had a starring role in the short-lived series Cra$h & Burn (2009-2010) and XIII: The Series, in 2011.
He has guest starred in numerous other television series including Due South, Relic Hunter, Traders, Soul Food, Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye, Missing, Kojak, This is Wonderland, Flashpoint, The Listener, Rookie Blue, Being Erica, Suits, Falling Skies, Haven, Nikita and The L.A. Complex.
