Bio
Danie Putter is a South African actor best known for his role as Brett in the SABC2 drama series Erfsondes, from 2011-2012.
He is also known for his role as Hein in the SABC2 soapie 7de Laan, in 2008.
Other television series he has appeared in include his screen acting debut in Egoli (2008) and cameo performances in the M-Net soapie Binneland: Sub Judice and the kykNET drama series Getroud Met Rugby, both in 2010.
In early 2012 he was announced as the co-host (with GiGi) of the South African version of the game show My Man Can (My Man Kan), premiering on kykNET in October 2012.
Danie graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2007 with a BA Drama qualification. His first acting assignment was a four-episode stint on Egoli at the beginning of 2008.
Theatre productions he has acted in include Houtkruis (the first Afrikaans Gospel musical), Die Dagboek van Anna Frank, Smokey Joe's Café, Straight Curl, Letsels, Mannekyn, Puppet Love, Huis op Horings, Life in the Fat Lane, Colour Atlas of Meat Inspection as well as the dance production Black Percia, choreographed and directed by Pieter Human, and ATKV's touring musical, Agent Snoet.
He has also appeared in the short films Grenspos, Gamble and Rising Tide.
Originally from Brits in the North West province, Danie currently resides in Johannesburg.
