Margaret Judson is an American actress best known for her recurring role as Tess Westin in the television drama series The Newsroom, since 2012.
She became an actress when she was hand-picked by Aaron Sorkin to leave cable news at MSNBC and move into the role of Tess Westin on his series The Newsroom.
Originally from Chicago, Margaret graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She began her broadcast career at the prestigious NBC Page Program in New York.
At NBC, Margaret worked with everyone from Jeff Immelt and Lorne Michaels to Jimmy Fallon and Brian Williams.
After the Program, Margaret landed a job as a research assistant to Keith Olbermann on Countdown on MSNBC.
