Bio
Dorrianne Mahlangu is a South African actress best known for featuring in the SABC1 reality series Life's a Stage, which documents the cast of the play Trapped as they go to the Grahamstown and Saltzburg theatre festivals.
Her love, passion and excitement for the performing arts started in high school at Pro Arte Alphen Park, where she majored in drama. She continued her studies at the Tshwane University of Technology in Musical Theatre, graduating in 2010 with a BTech Degree.
She landed her first professional performance as lead vocalist in a 2010 World Cup showcase production called African Dream.
She has been in theatrical productions such as Have you seen Zandile? as Lindiwe (directed by E.
Crauze, 2005), Ragtime as Ensemble/Harlen Woman (directed by Tim Walton, 2007), Urinetown as Josephine Strong (directed by Elizma van Rensburg, 2008) and African Dream in 2010, directed by Johnny Loate.
In 2011 and 2012 she acted in Trapped, written and directed by Princess Zinzi Mhlongo. Also in 2012, she appeared in the feature film Pretville.
