Bettie Kemp is a South African actress, radio and television personality best known as a presenter for Radio Sonder Grense and as a presenter on the kykNET breakfast show Dagbreek.
She is also a newsreader and continuity announcer.
Bettie is an experienced voice artist for commercial products and has been the voice of Standard Bank's phone-in services for a number of years.
She has acted in numerous stage productions and at a variety of arts festivals across the country, receiving a number of awards and nominations. In 2010/2011 she received kykNET's Fiesta award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the play Death of a Salesman.
Bettie also received two VITA nominations for her one-woman play Come Closer and was nominated for Best Actress at the 2012 Aardklop Festival for her role in TaMiem van Swellendam.
She has also had roles in the Afrikaans soap operas Villa Rosa and Binneland; and the drama series Begeertes, from 2007-2008.
In 2012 she became one of the six original presenters of the kykNET breakfast programme Dagbreek.
