Zack Pearlman is an American actor best known for his role as Zack in the 2010 comedy film The Virginity Hit and for his starring role as Jay Cartwright in the short-lived television comedy series The Inbetweeners, in 2012.Ann Arbor, Michigan native Pearlman's acting career began after he submitted an entry for a contest with the website Funny or Die and was given the opportunity to audition for a role in the film The Virginity Hit.Pearlman landed a lead role in the film, which was released in September, 2010.Pearlman began his television career as Leslie Kaczander in the season one finale of Breaking In. He is also the voice of Snotlout in the animated series How to Train Your Dragon.
