Bio
Kathryn Fiore is an American actress and comedienne best known as a cast member of MADtv (2001-2002) and for her starring role as Ingrid in the comedy-drama television series Wedding Band, from 2012-2013.
Daughter of actor Bill Fiore, Kat grew up on sets. Her father says he knew she was destined to be an actress when, at age 7, she grabbed a script he was reading, took one look at it and said, "I can do this."
Born and raised in New York City, Fiore has been acting professionally since. At the age of 16, she starred in the Broadway production of William Inge's Picnic.
While attending Columbia University as a Latin major with a 4.0 GPA, she came to Los Angeles for spring break and wound up getting cast in the Imagine Entertainment pilot Student Affairs. She began taking Latin courses at UCLA towards her Columbia degree and has lived in L.A. ever since.
Fiore was a regular on MADtv and has had recurring roles on Strong Medicine, Jake in Progress, Charmed, Reno 911, Star Stories, Glory Daze and Good Luck Charlie.
Some of her film work includes Mission: Impossible III, Reno 911: Miami, The Hottie and the Nottie, The Game Plan and the cult horror hit, Hatchet II.
Following in the footsteps of her parents, who had a popular comedy act in the '60s and '70s and appeared on everything from The Ed Sullivan Show to The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson), Fiore also wrote a very popular one-woman show, There Will Be Penetration.
The show, directed by Andy Fickman of The Game Plan, opened to rave reviews at the Coronet Theater.
Fiore also had the lead role in the indie feature 30 Nights of Paranormal Activity with the Devil Inside the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
She lives in West Hollywood with her husband, Gabriel Tigerman, and their Scottish Terrier, Lily. She spends her free time reading Latin poetry, baking pies and watching The Golden Girls.
