Bio
Liz Bonnin is a French-born Irish television presenter best known for presenting such programmes as Top of the Pops, Brat Camp Unseen, RI:SE, Stargazing Live and Bang Goes the Theory.
As well as being a presenter, Liz is a bona fide scientist. She has a degree in biochemistry from Trinity College, Dublin, and later returned to academia to study for a masters degree in wild animal biology and conservation.
She graduated with a distinction and now works for conservation programs at the Zoological Society of London, spending a lot of time helping snow leopards and tigers.
She also fronted a four-part documentary series called Science Friction for Irish channel RTE, covering topics such as nuclear power, stem cell research and obesity.
Away from television, Liz made headlines when she agreed to be locked in a giant kennel along with MPs and fellow presenters to raise awareness for RSPCA Week.
