Jacinda Barrett is an Australian model and actress who first became known as a cast member on The Real World: London before appearing in films such as Ladder 49, The Namesake, The Human Stain, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Poseidon and The Last Kiss.
She also had a starring role as Laila Galliston, Hank's (Anthony Edwards) beautiful wife, in the short-lived conspiracy thriller television series Zero Hour, in 2013.
Barrett, who also appears opposite real-life husband Gabriel Macht on Suits, starred in Paramount Pictures' Middle Men, with Luke Wilson and Giovanni Ribisi, in 2009.
In 2010 she starred in Matching Jack, for which she was nominated for Best Actress at the Milan International Film Festival and for which she won the Best Actress Award at the San Tropez Film Festival.
Barrett appeared in Mira Nair's drama, The Namesake, an adaptation of the novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jhumpa Lahir, and in Paramount's The Last Kiss, written by Paul Haggis and directed by Tony Goldwyn.
Her performance as Jenna received rave reviews, including a nomination for Best Actress at the Australian Film Institute International Awards.
Other film roles include Wolfgang Petersen's adaptation of Warner Bros.' Poseidon, Ladder 49, opposite Joaquin Phoenix and John Travolta, Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason, starring Renée Zellweger, and the Todd Phillips-directed comedy School for Scoundrels, opposite Billy Bob Thornton.
In 2003 she received critical acclaim for her performance in Robert Benton's The Human Stain, which co-starred Nicole Kidman, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris. For this notable performance she was awarded the Breakthrough Award from Movieline magazine.
Barrett got her start in her hometown of Brisbane, Australia. She studied acting at the British Academy of Dramatic Art in Oxford, England, and had extensive improvisation training at Groundlings in Los Angeles. She continues to work privately with Larry Moss and Harold Guskin.

One of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People, Barrett has her private pilot's license, is fluent in German - having studied in Hamburg - and has found a passion in writing prose.
