Jay Ellis is an American model and actor best known for his starring role as Bryce "Blue" Westbrook in the comedy-drama television series The Game, joining the cast in the sixth season.
Ellis was born in Sumter, South Carolina. He grew up as an only child in a military family traveling all around the world, including Germany and the Philipines, and attended 12 schools in 13 years.
After graduating from Metro Christian Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jay attended Concordia University in Portland, Oregon where he received a scholarship for basketball.
While attending Concordia Jay began a modeling career with Mode Models International, which lead to placements with other top agencies such as Ford Models. Jay has been featured in campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, Air Jordan Brand, Diesel, The Gap and more.
Jay has been featured in shows such as Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Millionaire Matchmaker, How To Look Good Naked and the MTV series Hired!.
He has also had guest starring roles in Invasion, Related, The Bold and the Beautiful, Grey's Anatomy, NCIS, How I Met Your Mother, Hart of Dixie and Crash & Bernstein, among others.
In 2013 he landed his first starring role, in the television series The Game.
