Marlo Minnaar is a South African actor best known for co-presenting the SABC3 Afrikaans-language lifestyle and magazine programme NAweek.
Marlo was also one of the Top 10 finalists on the second season of the SABC1 reality competition Class Act, in 2011; and had a starring role as Japie Loots on the kykNET crime anthology series Die Boland Moorde, in 2013.
On stage he's had roles in the Die Kortstondige Raklewe van Anastasia W. and Cabaret, The Musical (both directed by Marthinus Basson) and Ubu en die Secrecy Bill. In 2012 he received a KKNK Kanna nomination for Best Upcoming Young Artist.
Other stage productions he has acted in include Meimering (directed by Johan Esterhuizen), We Are Cities (directed by Samantha Pienaar), Reis (directed by Mareli Pretorius), Twist in the Tale (directed by Waldemar Schultz) and Krismis van Map Jacobs, directed by Andre Samuels.
Marlo has also acted in numerous radio dramas for Radio Sonder Grense including Die Lemoen, Hartseerherfs, Droomskip, Judasbok, Die Evangelis van Kaggelsberg, Vers en Klank, Die Dag Sal Kom, Liefde is 'n Roos and Moeder Hanna.
His hometown is Stellenbosch.
