Ajiona Alexus is an American singer, songwriter and actress best known for her starring role as De'anna, Rickey Smiley's only daughter and the middle child of his three children, in the television sitcom The Rickey Smiley Show.
Her music is a blend of pop, hip hop and dance, freestyle raps, swanky lyrics and melodic vocals. Ajiona released her debut mixtape titled Radio Ready on 30 June, 2012 under Earn B. Management and Locksmiths Ent.
Born in Tuskegee, Alabama, she moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 1999. As a child, she was nurtured in athletics and the arts through training in basketball, acting and theatre. At an early age, she gained a true love for the stage and camera.
She was accepted into the Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham in the theatre department at the age of 12. As an honour roll student she nurtured her desire of expressing herself through the arts by performing in plays and on film.
