Louanne Stephens is an American actress best known for her recurring role as Lorraine Saracen, grandmother to Matt Saracen who often requires special care from Matt as she suffers from dementia, in the football drama television series Fridays Night Lights.
She is also known for her recurring role as Ruby, dispatcher and manager of the sheriff's office, in the crime drama television series Longmire, based on the mystery novels by Craig Johnson.
Stephens, a native Texan, has been active in radio, television, film, and theatre for many years. She has extensive film credits including the role of Anthony Hopkins' wife in Instinct.
On stage, Louanne has twice been selected as outstanding actress in a major role by the Dallas theatre critics.
