Mkhuseli Richard Tafane is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Macintosh "Mac" Kunene, the security guard at the church who often becomes the unlucky scapegoat and guinea pig to many of Daliza and Paddido's schemes, in the Mzansi Magic sitcom Chandies, in 2012.
A member of the New Africa Theatre Company, Richard was nominated as Best Actor at the Baxter Theatre's Zabalaza Theatre Festival in 2011 and won the award the following year.
He has acted in numerous theatre productions including Zuluman, Dark Child, Roll in the Dark, Captured by Sanity, Inqwithelo Zemimoya, Amaza, Caboose and Engen the Musical.
He also had a small role in the feature film Death Race 2 and has played cameo roles in the television sitcom Stokvel and the SABC1 mini-series Forced Love (previously known as Goba Msenge), based on the Shakespeare play Taming of the Shrew.
His first language is Xhosa and he also speaks English, Zulu and seSotho. His birthday is 1 April.
