Randall Park is an American actor, comedian, writer, director, musician and columnist best known to television viewers for his recurring role as Danny Chung, the smarmy politician and rival candidate, in the satirical comedy series Veep.

He is also known for his starring role as Louis Huang, the husband of Jessica and the father of Eddie, Emery, and Evan, in the television sitcom Fresh Off the Boat.

Park can be seen as Kim Jong-un in The Interview, opposite James Franco and Seth Rogen. The comedy follows a celebrity tabloid TV show host (Franco) and his producer (Rogen), who, in trying to legitimise themselves as real journalists, land an interview with Kim Jong-un after discovering he is a fan of their show. While preparing to travel to North Korea for the interview, the CIA recruits them to assassinate the dictator.

He also appeares in Judd Apatow's Trainwreck, opposite Tilda Swinton, Daniel Radcliffe, Marisa Tomei, Brie Larson and Ezra Miller; and The Hollars, directed by John Krasinski, co-starring Anna Kendrick, Margo Martindale, Richard Jenkins and Charlie Day.

Park was seen in the box-office hit Neighbors, alongside Seth Rogen and Zac Efron. He also appears in the film Sex Tape, opposite Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel. Other feature film appearances include They Came Together, The Five-Year Engagement, Dinner for Schmucks, Larry Crowne, The Good Doctor, and Fragments.

Park's other TV credits include The Office, New Girl, Curb Your Enthusiasm, House, The Mindy Project, Cold Case, CSI, Reno 911!, Wild N Out and The Sarah Silverman Program.

Park won a Best Actor Award at the 2010 NBC's Short Cuts Film Festival for the short Blueberry, which he also wrote. He also is the recipient of the 2011 CAPE New Writers award for an original pilot he wrote entitled Erasists.

Park is a constant presence on the web and is a frequent contributor to the monthly web series showcase and competition Channel 101, created by Dan Harmon (Community) and Rob Schrab (The Sarah Silverman Program).

Park currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
