Bo Burnham is an American comedian, singer-songwriter, musician, actor and Internet celebrity who, writing comedic and satirical songs with a politically incorrect slant, achieved fame when his YouTube videos took off and received more than 70-million views by October 2010.
He is best known to television viewers for creating and starring in the comedy series Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous, which follows a kid fresh out of high-school who hires a camera crew to film him in the hopes of becoming famous, which aired on MTV in 2013.
With roles in Judd Apatow's Funny People, Rob Schneider's Virgin on Bourbon Street and Federighi's coming-of-age comedy Sin Bin, Burnham already has several film credits to his name.
Bo performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Fest to sellout audiences, winning the Spirit of the Fringe Award. In addition, he was the youngest performer ever nominated for the best show award in the festival's 30 year history and received five 5 star reviews for his show.
Entertainment Weekly named Burnham one of the 12 Rising Stars of Comedy. He released his first full length LP, Bo Burnham, in 2009, topping Billboard's New Artist chart and reaching #1 on the Billboard's Comedy chart in its first week.
Four days after his eighteenth birthday, Burnham became the youngest person to record a Comedy Central Presents special, and in 2008, Burnham signed a four-record deal with Comedy Central Records.
He released his first digital-only EP, Bo Fo Sho, on iTunes in June. The album hit #1 on the iTunes comedy album chart and #6 on the overall iTunes album chart, alongside the likes of Coldplay.
