Bio
Kari Coleman is an American actress best known for her starring role as Mrs. Stone, Zach's mother who is initially hesitant about his show (especially with the camera crew's frequent footage of her in her bathrobe), but still tries to be supportive of her older son, in the television comedy series Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous.
Coleman can be seen playing Emma Stone's mother in Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man opposite Andrew Garfield and Denis Leary. She's been seen on Grey's Anatomy, Common Law, Major Crimes, Glee, Wilfred, The Mentalist, Drop Dead Diva, CSI and NCIS.
Kari began her career on such shows as In Living Color, Married with Children and Roseanne. She played George's unforgettably psychotic girlfriend on Seinfeld, and recurred as the embittered sex-ed teacher on Veronica Mars.
She was the lead in Bridesmaids director Paul Feig's first film, Life Sold Separately, and was featured in Harold Ramis' Multiplicity opposite Michael Keaton.
Additionally, she was a fire-eater with Penn and Teller in Las Vegas, debunked paranormal phenomena on syndicated TV and fell off a mountain in the IMAX 3D film, T-Rex.
She performs regularly at the Broad Theatre and The Odyssey in Los Angeles with her award-winning comedy improv company, Impro Theatre, and appeared in the much-acclaimed Jane Austen Unscripted at the Pasadena Playhouse.
She resides in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Kyle Secor, and their two daughters.
