Liza Snyder is an American actress best known for her starring role as Christine Hughes, the wilder sister of the family who shares her husband Jimmy's free-spirited approach to life and to raising her kids Logan and Dominic, on the television sitcom Yes, Dear, from 2000-2006.
Snyder's television credits include guest-starring roles in the series Chicago Hope, Murder, She Wrote, Jesse, Sirens, House and Raising Hope.
Her father was a professor of theatre at Smith College and her mother is an actress-singer-songwriter. Her maternal grandparents are five-time Oscar-winning composer Johnny Green and actress/consumer reporter Betty Furness. She made her acting debut at age 7 in a Smith College play.
She also acted in the feature film Pay It Forward.
Snyder was born in Northampton, Massachusetts, and now lives in Los Angeles.
