Merveline Ferris is a South African actress best known for her starring role as The Concierge of the eccentric Donatello Towers in the SABC3 sitcom Loitering in Jozi. Merveline was born in Vryburg (North West) in 1988. She moved to Nelspruit at the age of three and matriculated at Lowveld High school in 2005. Merveline excelled in hockey, representing Mpumalanga for 5 years. Her keen interest in school plays and her participation in the Eisteddfods inspired her to pursue a career in acting. Merveline received her BA Honours degree in Live Performance from AFDA in 2011. In 2013 she landed a guest-starring role in the SABC3 sitcom Let Heaven Wait and later that year she had a role in another SABC3 sitcom, Loitering in Jozi. In the same year she played the role of Ronel on the kykNET soapie Binnelanders and also played Celine in the twelfth season of Villa Rosa, another kykNET soapie.
