Brett Dalton is an American actor best known for his starring role as Agent Grant Ward, a black ops specialist who is highly trained in combat and espionage but sometimes fails at interpersonal relations, in the superhero science fiction comedy-drama television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Other television credits include Blue Bloods, Army Wives and Nurses (a pilot for Fox). He was also seen in National Geographic Channel's Killing Lincoln, a Tony and Ridley Scott Production.
Theatre credits include Passion Play, Romeo and Juliet, and Happy Now? (Yale Repertory); Sweet Bird of Youth and Demon Dreams (Williamstown Theatre Festival); Macbeth (Macbeth) and You Can't Take It With You (Chautauqua Theater Company).
Dalton received a BA in Art from the University of California at Berkeley and an MFA in Acting from Yale School of Drama.
