Unathi Rasmeni is a South African actor and wheelchair basketball player best known for his role as Collins Maduna, Lerato Maduna's (Precious Makgaretsa) brother who snapped his spinal cord in a taxi accident some years before but is by no means a victim, in the SABC2 political drama television series 90 Plein Street.Born and raised in the Eastern Cape, Unathi grew up with his supportive parents. He lost the use of his legs in a car accident and went on to play wheelchair basketball for South Africa and Western Province.He enjoys music by Westlife and Zahara and his favourite stars are Nicholas Cage and Menzi Ngubane. His enjoys Big Brother because it unites people from different countries while entertaining; being on Big Brother is one of his unfulfilled ambitions.
