Bio
Malizo Mdekazi is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Spikiri, a founding member of the band, in the SABC1 youth drama series Loxion Lyric.
He also had supporting roles in the SABC3 drama series High Rollers and in the Mzansi Magic miniseries Stash, and appeared in the Lokshin Bioskop short film Tokoloshi is Dead.
Malizo's theatre credits include directing the Baxter Theatre's production of T.O. no Ma-7, for which he won a directing award; and playing lead roles in Bucket and Gifted (both directed by Paul Noko) and Vuka Machel, directed by Mncedisi Shabangu.
Originally from Vereeniging, he later relocated to Soweto and matriculated from Tharabollo Secondary School. He later achieved a degree in drama from City Varsity.
